Video Q&A: Am I the drama if I avoid an uncomfortable situation?
Establishing boundaries when a colleague is too "friendly"

“I’m pretty sure my co-worker has a crush on me which is weird for two reasons: he’s married and we work remote so he’s never even met me. For context, this is my first official job out of college & he’s pretty senior at this company. He always teams messages me on the side and tells me a bunch of personal stuff, always tells me to have a good weekend, is constantly hyping me & my work up & is CONSTANTLY blowing up my messages (like sending 6 messages of emojis and hoorays because it’s Friday). Maybe I’m being full of myself but it’s like weird for me because outside of work I’d ignore a man that blew up my phone so much but he’s a co-worker and I can’t just not answer my teams messages? I don’t think he’s malicious so I wouldn’t want to report him to HR but I also just want to do my work without being bugged. Am I the drama for not wanting to build relationships with my co workers or is he the drama for being tooooo much? Can I ghost a co worker lol”
